The Shenzhen Neher Neural Plasticity Laboratory is the first "Nobel Lab" of neuroscience in Shenzhen, directed by Nobel laureate Dr. Erwin Neher. The lab is committed to study the neural plastic mechanisms of brain diseases and develop potential therapeutic targets by using state-of-art technologies in modern neuroscience. The research directions of the lab include:
1) The principle of neural plasticity;
2) The role of synaptic plasticity in learning and memory;
3) The neural plasticity mechanism of drug addiction;
4) The neural plasticity of pain circuits in physiological and pathological conditions.
