International Symposium on Neural Circuit of Emotion was convened in Shenzhen, on Nov. 18-19.

International Symposium on Neural Circuit of Emotion was convened in Shenzhen, on Nov. 18-19. The two-day event wrapped with the promotion of exchanges and cooperation for fellow scientists in the fields of emotional function of neural circuits, neural circuits regulation and cognitive behavior, neural circuits’ tracer technique. The symposium provided a platform for neural circuit science researchers to discuss and cooperate. The symposium covering Mechanism of neural circuits and molecular mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases and synaptic plasticity, like brain's visual cognition, fear feeling and reward feeling.  

Organized by Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, CAS and National Natural Science Foundation Major Research Program. Co-organized by Chinese Society of Neuroscience, Zhejiang University Institute of Neuroscience. The attendees including Peking University, Tsinghua University, University of Science and Technology of China, Fudan University and Institute of Neuroscience, CAS. 

The lecturers include Academician DUAN Shumin, from Zhejiang University, Academician YE Shuyu, from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Joshua A. Gordon, from Columbia University, Professor Yi Zuo, from University of California Santa Cruz, Professor GAO Tianming, from Southern Medical University, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Professor HU Hailan, from Zhejiang University. Professor LUO Minmin, from National Institute of Biological Sciences, Professor WANG Liping from SIAT.
