On May 23^rd2015, the Kick-Off meeting of  Grant ”Innovation Team of Novel Genetic Engineering for Major Brain Disorders” was held at BCBDI. Anacademic symposium on the progress of brain disease and brain technology wasalso held. Dr. Yaping Zhang, the vise president of CAS, Dr. Jianping Fan, thepresident of SIAT, and Dr. Robert Desimone, the director of the McGovern Institute at MIT, together with all BCBDI staffs, witnessed the significant moment in BCBDI history.
