Introduction

Dr. Ding hold a Doctor of Medicine degree from Peking University Health Science Center in 2018. During her PhD, her research aimed at establishment of sleep disorders and depression comorbidity models and investigation of neural circuit mechanisms. In 2019, Hui joined the lab of Prof. Dr. Liping Wang as a postdoctoral fellow in BCBDI. Using optogenetics, chemogenetics and behavioral approaches, she now focuses on studying the abnormal mechanisms of the neural circuit of neuropsychiatric diseases such as depression. Furthermore, she will work to discover new loop targets for these diseases and explore new strategies for prevention and treatment of related diseases.
