Zhiqiang MENG
个人简介

Dr. Meng is a Professor of Engineering of the Brain Cognition and Brain Disease Institute of Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Group Leader of Shenzhen Neher Laboratory of Neural Plasticity, Vice director of Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Drug Addiction. He was honored as Shenzhen Talent Program (Peacock Program). As part of the non-human primate research platform of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Major Infrastructure of Shenzhen Brain Analysis and Brain Simulation, Dr. Meng's research utilizes non-human primate models, combined with behavioral, pharmacological, electrophysiological, magnetic resonance imaging and non-invasive neuromodulation technology, etc., to study the brain mechanism of neuropsychiatric diseases. The aim is to develop new therapeutic or intervention strategies. Currently, the laboratory has animal models such as drug addiction, depression, sleep disorders, PD, etc.

研究领域

Nonhuman primate models of neuropsychiatric diseases and neuromodulation techniques.
