Co-Head of the Division of Non-Human Primate Research, Brain Science Infrastructure (BSI·SZ). With extensive research experience in fruit flies, rodents, and non-human primates, Dr. Yang's research focuses on the neural mechanisms of instinctive and cognitive behaviors in animals, as well as the development of animal behavior test technologies. He has been granted 8 national invention patents, 2 utility model patents, and 3 software copyrights. He has published 7 SCI papers in journals including Neuron, BMC Biology, and eLife, with 5 papers as first author (including co-first author).
