He is affiliated with the Institute of Brain Cognition and Brain Disease, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.He is a core researcher in the following key laboratories:

Research interests: Genetic engineering and applications of biomedical viral vectors, including neural circuit tracing, oncolytic viruses, gene therapy, antiviral drug screening, and novel vaccine development.
