She obtained Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2010. Her research focuses on neuroscience electrophysiology, synaptic information transmission, and biosensors, with a specialization in designing and fabricating novel sensors for detecting neurotransmitter release.
In 2010, she joined the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as a postdoctoral researcher, where she established a high-precision synaptic signal detection system.Four invention patents have been granted based on this system, which achieves a technical breakthrough enabling the detection of single synaptic vesicle fusion and quantal neurotransmitter release in the central nervous system.
In 2019, she joined the Brain Cognition and Brain Disease Institute, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
