Introduction

Our group is aim to dissect the molecular regulatory mechanisms in development of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Particularly, different animal models such as familial AD (FAD, based on the gene mutation of APP, PSEN1 and PSEN2) and sporadic AD (SAD, based on ApoE4 manipulation) mice models will be used to investigate the underlying different molecular mechanisms between FAD and SAD. Moreover, four golden standards, including Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE, behavior test), Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (Ab and Tau PET) imaging, Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis of AD biomarker, all of which are normally used in clinic diagnose will be applied in our research.
